Jade Circle Acaredemy

Jade Circle Acaredemy is the training centre of Jade Circle, an eldercare facility run by The Salvation Army Peacehaven. It runs eldercare, dementia and palliative care courses for care professionals, caregivers and the community. Nerb designed and built its website, which replaced the academy’s earlier site and went live in 2023.

The Salvation Army’s headquarters asked for a microsite whose branding follows the main Salvation Army website, with the Peacehaven and Jade Circle logos side by side. Courses make up 16 of the site’s 23 pages, so each course page sets out what a learner checks before applying.

Structure. The Courses menu lists 16 courses in five groups: caregivers’ training, dementia care, palliative care, leadership and management, and shared stay-in training. About, It Takes A Village and Contact sit alongside, and an Enquire Now button stays in the header.

Design. Nerb designed the homepage first, leading with “Care to Learn, Learn to Care”, then a course page template that every course now follows: overview, who should attend, entry requirements, mode of delivery, certification, fees and an Apply Now button. The design went through rounds of review with headquarters before launch.

Build. The site runs on WordPress with Elementor. The contact form and the facilities booking form run on Gravity Forms with spam protection.

Launch and running. The site went live on its new Salvation Army address in 2023, five months after work began. Nerb hosts and maintains it, and in 2026 added a new course page and an Our Partners page with cards for the academy’s partners.
