Who we are

Nerb Media Pte Ltd (UEN 201120290G) is a Singapore web design and AI studio at 1014 Geylang East Ave 3, #04-196, Singapore 389729. In this policy, “Nerb”, “we” and “us” mean Nerb Media Pte Ltd, and “personal data” has the meaning given in Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

This policy covers this website and the ways you contact us: our forms, WhatsApp, email and phone. Personal data we handle for our clients, for example on a website we host for them, is covered on our PDPA page.

What we collect

• When you fill in a form: your name, company, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message.
• When you use a free check: the website address you enter, and your email address or phone number if you ask for the full report.
• When you message, email or call us: your phone number or email address, and what you tell us.
• When you use our website chat: what you type in the chat, which is answered by Claude, an AI model from Anthropic; your name, phone number or email address if you leave them; and a chat session kept in your browser’s local storage so the conversation stays open as you move between pages.
• When you browse this site: technical data such as your IP address, browser and device, collected by our host and our spam check, and by Google Analytics 4 when analytics is on, which uses cookies to count visits and show which pages people use. Our Cookie Policy lists the details.

We don’t ask for NRIC numbers or other sensitive personal data on this website.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange calls or meetings.
• To prepare quotes, deliver the services you buy and send invoices.
• To send the report you asked for after a free check.
• To keep our forms free of spam and abuse.
• To keep the records the law requires, such as accounting records.

We use your personal data only for these purposes, or for another purpose we tell you about and you agree to. We don’t sell personal data. We send marketing emails only if you have agreed to receive them, and every one has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run Nerb, and only what each one needs:

• Cloudflare, which hosts this website, stores form entries and runs the Turnstile spam check on our forms.
• Our email and messaging providers, Google Workspace and WhatsApp Business, when you email or message us.
• Our accounting software, Xero, if you become a client.
• Cloudflare Email Service (Cloudflare), which delivers the emails our forms send to our team when an enquiry cannot reach our CRM.
• The NERB platform, Nerb’s own CRM, where enquiries and website chats are kept so we can reply and follow up.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google), which counts visits and shows which pages people use.
• Anthropic, whose AI model Claude writes the replies in our website chat (NERB Live Chat), when you use the chat.
• Google PageSpeed Insights (Google), which runs the free speed check, and the speed part of the AI-readiness check, on the website address you enter.

We may also disclose personal data when the law requires it, for example to a government agency with the legal authority to ask for it.

Where it is stored

Some of our providers store or process data outside Singapore. When personal data leaves Singapore, we make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA, for example through the provider’s contract terms, as the Act requires.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don’t become projects: 12 months after our last contact.
• Client records: for as long as we work together, then for as long as the law requires, such as five years for accounting records.
• Website chats and the contact details left in them: 12 months, then deleted automatically.
• Free-check results: 24 hours.

When we no longer need personal data, we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect it

We use reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on this website and access limited to the people at Nerb who need it. If a data breach happens, we handle it as our PDPA page describes.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it. Our PDPA page explains how to ask and how quickly we reply.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices or the law change, and the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
